I'm a Director of Photography and Photographer based in Calgary, Alberta. Originally from Ukraine, I bring over 15 years of professional experience in broadcast television, scripted drama, music video and commercial production.

For nearly five years I served as lead DOP on Veshchdok, a prime-time crime drama on Inter TV — one of Ukraine's largest national networks. I also directed photography for music videos exceeding 1 million YouTube views.

Now based in Calgary, I bring that same cinematic eye to portraits, weddings and family photography across Calgary and surrounding areas — including Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks, Canmore and Banff. Available for destination sessions throughout Alberta.

How far in advance should I book?
For portrait and family sessions, 1–2 weeks is usually enough. Wedding dates often book 3–6 months ahead, especially for summer and fall. Reach out early to secure your date.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes — a 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remainder is due on the day of the session. For weddings, the balance is due 7 days before the date.
What if the weather is bad?
Outdoor sessions can be rescheduled once at no charge if the weather is truly unsuitable. I’ll always give you my honest opinion — sometimes overcast skies make for beautiful soft light.
What should we wear?
Solid colours and neutral tones photograph best. Avoid busy patterns or logos. For family sessions, coordinate colours without being too matchy-matchy. When in doubt — send me a photo and I’ll give you honest feedback.
When will I receive my photos?
Your edited online gallery is delivered within 7 days. For weddings, allow up to 3 weeks. You’ll receive an email link to download full-resolution files with no watermarks.
Do you shoot in Banff, Canmore or outside Calgary?
Yes — I regularly shoot in Banff, Canmore, Airdrie, Cochrane and Okotoks. Travel within 60km of Calgary is included. For sessions further away, a small travel fee may apply.
